Systems Integration
Ever dream you could just put your data into one system and have it flow into all the others? Wish your ERP system could “talk” to your other business systems? We don’t think that should be a dream.
We have worked with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, and Great Plains and have been successful in integrating systems to let data flow between them. Whether it’s your ERP system feeding data to another application or consuming data from your website, we can build the connectors and interfaces to keep data flowing through your organization.
Examples
PIM & ERP
While PIM may be the source of truth for your product data, no system uses that data in more ways than your ERP system. In many organizations, the ERP system is the master of some product data, such as UPC codes. In such a situation, data must be synced between the two systems. The ERP system needs to know about new and updated products and the PIM system needs to receive the UPC codes.
Ideosity has built utilities to compare data between the systems and update the data based on which system owns the data. This keeps the ERP and PIM in sync and up to date and the organization functioning smoothly.
ERP Order History on the Website
Your customers place orders via EDI which is handled by your ERP system but they want to see their orders on your website. We’ve done that, too. Whether you want to update daily or more frequently, we can create a solution to extract order information from your ERP system and display it securely on your website.
PIM & Website
Your website is one of the crucial business applications driven by data in your PIM system. Ideosity has built processes to update websites with data from PIM without interrupting the performance of the site. Need to reload product information for 100,000 SKUs? We’ve got the technology to do that in a matter of minutes.
Website Orders to your ERP
For many companies, there is little difference between a website order and one faxed in. Both have to be manually entered into the ERP system. We think there’s a better way. Ideosity has built connections between websites and ERP systems that allow orders to be placed from the website directly into the ERP system. Data quality rules of the ERP system are enforced on the website at order placement; eliminating the possibility of a typo sending a customer’s order to Pelican, AK instead of Pelham, AL.
